The third Science on Screen of the second series was presented by Simon DeDeo, who chose Darren Aronofksy’s cult film Pi. Simon gave an entertaining introduction to patterns, and how we as humans are primed to see them everywhere, either consciously or subconsciously. Pi follows unhinged mathematician Max Cohen, driven to the edge of madness by patterns, as he is hounded by those who wish to predict or decode the world.
