Alex Adamou


Fellow and Director of LML

Dr Alex Adamou is a Fellow and the Director of London Mathematical Laboratory.

As a Fellow, Alex works on LML’s Economics research. He is an applied mathematician interested in probability theory, stochastic processes, ergodicity, and epistemology. His background is in continuum mechanics and numerical methods at Cambridge University and Imperial College London. He was previously in charge of mathematical modelling for a financial technology start-up and was once a professional gambler.

As Director, Alex is responsible for LML’s culture and environment. His aim is to create the best conditions for Fellows to do ground-breaking science. If you would like to support LML, he would love to hear from you.
